SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, is the process of enhancing your online presence to rank higher in search engine results. This isn’t just about getting more website visitors—it’s about attracting the right visitors who are ready to become your customers. For local businesses, SEO is crucial. Imagine someone in Denver searching for a service you offer. If your business isn’t showing up in those search results, you’re missing out on potential leads. SEO Help: How to Get More Leads for Your Local Business At DaGama Digital Marketing Agency, we offer comprehensive SEO help to ensure your business ranks high for relevant local searches. This isn’t just about keywords; it’s about understanding the local market and customizing your online presence to meet those specific needs. We also set up your website to make it easy for visitors to find your phone number and/or fill out the estimate form or contact form to book an appointment. Keyword Research for Local Businesses One of the foundational aspects of SEO is keyword research. You might think you know what your customers are searching for, but data-driven keyword research often reveals surprising insights. We use advanced tools like Google Keyword Planner and Ahrefs (and our brains) to identify the most effective keywords for your business. But it doesn’t stop there. We also focus on long-tail keywords—phrases that might have lower search volumes but higher conversion rates because they’re specific to what your potential customers are actually searching for. For example, instead of just targeting “plumber in Greeley,” we might optimize for “emergency plumbing services in Greeley.” This specificity can make a significant difference in the quality of leads you receive. The goal of our SEO help is to drive traffic that converts into phone calls and filled-out contact forms. Optimizing Your Website for Local Search Your website is your digital storefront, and it needs to be optimized for local search to attract more leads. On-page SEO is critical—this includes optimizing title tags, meta descriptions, and using header tags correctly. At DaGama Digital Marketing Agency, we ensure that every piece of content is crafted with SEO in mind. We create locally-focused landing pages that target specific areas you serve, from Northern Colorado to Denver and beyond. Mobile optimization is another key component of our SEO help. With so many people using smartphones to search for local businesses, having a mobile-friendly website is no longer optional—it’s essential. A fast, responsive, and easy-to-navigate mobile site can dramatically increase your chances of converting visitors into leads, whom you convert into paying customers. Google My Business and Local Citations One of the most powerful tools in your local SEO arsenal is Google My Business (GMB). Setting up and optimizing your GMB profile is a core part of our SEO help. We make sure your profile is complete and accurate, with up-to-date contact information, business hours, and categories. Encouraging and managing customer reviews also plays a crucial role. Positive reviews not only boost your GMB ranking but also build trust with potential customers. Local citations are another key part of the puzzle. These are links to your business website on other websites, which help boost your visibility in local searches. At our SEO agency, we manually list your business on local directories and industry-specific websites to give your company more backlink juice. These high-quality backlinks from reputable local websites make your SEO even stronger, helping you rank higher and attract more leads. But, of course, that’s not the only thing that will contribute to getting you more phone calls and foot traffic. Content Marketing and Continuous Improvement Regular content updates are vital for maintaining and improving your SEO rankings. Writing helpful content about local events, sharing customer success stories, and creating how-to guides related to your services can drive traffic to your site. At our SEO agency, we provide ongoing Search Engine Optimization services by continuously monitoring and adjusting your strategy based on data from tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console. We obsess about it daily. Key performance indicators (KPIs) such as organic traffic, bounce rate, and conversion rate are critical metrics we track. We keep tweaking and improving your SEO strategy to keep up with the ever-changing digital world. This way, your business stays ahead of the competition and your phone keeps ringing with new leads. Our SEO help is all about solving the real challenges local business owners like you face. We dig into the best keywords, fine-tune your website, manage your Google My Business profile, and create engaging content—all to help you get more leads and grow your business. SEO Tune-Up Checklist

seo tune-up checklist

In the infinite landscape of digital marketing, SEO stands as the cornerstone of online success. With a career spanning 29 years owning DaGama Digital Marketing Agency, I’ve continually witnessed the evolution of SEO firsthand. I’ve developed SEO strategies that withstand Google’s changing algorithmns. This is not just a theoretical benefit; it’s a practical reality for my clients, who enjoy top 3 and top 5 positions, translating into increased online visibility and business growth worth hundreds of thousands of dollars over the course of a year; and millions over several years. But how can you make sure your SEO is tuned-up and humming along properly? Just read today’s helpful blog post: The SEO Tune-Up Checklist, a comprehensive guide to keeping your website in top form for having the best possible chance of ranking high on search engines like Google and Bing – depending on your competition, of course. Why You Need a Quarterly SEO Tune-Up You need a positive reputation with omnipresence because consumers research brands/companies more now post-pandemic than before. And what they find about you has to be positive, of course, or they won’t call you, contact or connect with your company. They will go somewhere else. Forrester Research did a study on post-pandemic consumer behavior. Here’s the most interesting observation: The Number Of Buying Interactions Jumped By 10 Although the number of buying interactions has been increasing slightly every two years (e.g., from 16 to 17 between 2017 and 2019), the number of buying interactions during the pandemic jumped from 17 to 27! The number of buying interactions reflects one individual’s buying journey to obtain information about competing offerings or providers. In the total number, we include self-guided interactions (mostly done by research via the internet) and personal interactions, which refer to a conversation with a person, from either a provider company or third party. Almost all of these conversations took place virtually last year. -Source:  https://go.forrester.com/blogs/three-seismic-shifts-in-buying-behavior-from-forresters-2021-b2b-buying-survey/ SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, is the art and science of improving your website’s visibility on search engines like Google and Bing. This means your website needs to be found in the top three positions for multiple keywords that your prospects are using in searches. Consumers do more research nowadays than ever before while in the process of searching on Google. They have to find you first; and then they’ll decide to call you, contact you or connect by coming in to buy something from you. Without that visibility high up in the search results – especially on mobile searches – you’re basically invisible. SEO, when done right, gets your business visible. Let’s dive into the essentials. SEO Basics At its core, SEO revolves around keywords. These are the words and phrases your target audience uses to find information online. Conduct thorough keyword research to understand what terms are relevant to your business. Many free and paid keyword research tools exist. Many people use the following: Ahrefs Keywords Explorer Moz Keyword Explorer SEMrush Long Tail Pro Google Keyword Planner (You have to set up a Google Ads account to use this but you don’t have to buy any ads.) Technical SEO Ensure your website is mobile-friendly. With the majority of internet users on mobile devices, this is non-negotiable and should be well-known by now but sometimes I still meet new clients who’ve never looked at their websites on mobile. And sometimes the mobile presentation is hurting their business. Another important technical SEO thing you should check is your website’s loading speed. Slow sites can turn visitors away. You only have 2.5 seconds to hook your visitor into staying and exploring more pages. So make sure your website loads fast. Here’s the Google Page Speed test you can check your site with now. Lack of Structured Data (Schema Markup): Missing out on structured data can result in lost opportunities for enhancing search listings and improving click-through rates. Broken Links and 404 Errors: Having a high number of broken links or 404 errors can damage your site’s usability and trustworthiness in the eyes of search engines. Schema Markup Do you have a WordPress website? For managing schema markup on your WordPress website, there are several tools and plugins specifically designed for this purpose. Schema markup helps search engines understand the content of your site better, potentially leading to rich snippets in search results. Example: star symbols (indicating a 5-star rating) appearing in the search result is due to a rich snippet of code being used. Here are some good Schema Markup tools: Schema Pro: This plugin automates the process of adding schema markup to your WordPress site. It supports a wide range of schema types and allows for easy customization without needing to write any code. Schema Pro can automatically apply relevant schema markup across your site, enhancing your site’s presence in search results. More about Schema Pro can be found on their official website. Yoast SEO: While primarily known for its SEO capabilities, Yoast SEO also includes features for adding schema markup to your posts and pages. It simplifies the process of integrating basic schema types like Article, Breadcrumb, and Person. You can learn more about Yoast SEO’s schema features on the Yoast SEO website. All in One Schema Rich Snippets: This plugin is focused on providing a straightforward way to add various schema markup types like reviews, events, people, products, recipes, and more. It’s user-friendly and helps improve how your posts look in search results. More information is available on the WordPress plugin repository. WP SEO Structured Data Schema: This tool provides extensive options for schema types and is suitable for those looking for more control over their schema markup. It’s a bit more advanced but offers greater flexibility. Check out more details on the WordPress plugin repository. Rank Math: Rank Math is another SEO plugin that includes schema markup functionality. It offers a simple interface to add schema markup and supports a wide range of schema types. Rank Math’s schema module is quite intuitive and easy to use. Find more about

Colorado SEO Expert

Colorado SEO Expert Lori Gama

Are you searching for a Colorado SEO Expert to manage your SEO?  I’m Lori Gama: getting top results for biz owners for 26 years. Call: 970-302-6994. Read my blog post below for some helpful SEO tips. Apply these tips as you search for the right Search Engine Optimization expert in Colorado (or anywhere). Your SEO professional should help you increase your company’s visibility and search rankings on Google. I’d be happy to be that Search professional you call on but, just in case you’re researching, please be sure you thoroughly check out your Colorado SEO Expert with the following advice. In a world in which AI has disrupted many industries (and it’s just getting started), it was just a matter of time before it turned the Search Engine Optimization industry topsy-turvy. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is no longer is no longer simply the skills and experience it takes to get your business found on Google. Now it takes AI (Artificial Intelligence) Search Engine Optimization. AI Overviews answer the searcher’s query. Though Google Ads, and in some cases, Local Service Ads (Google Guaranteed), appear in the top rankings on Google, not all companies can afford the strategy of paid ads. Even the map pack will eventually go away to be replaced by Local Service Ads – those companies willing to pay Google for leads that range in cost from $25 on up, depending on the industry you’re in. Service-based companies (HVAC, roofing, electrical, etc.), Realtors, Law Firms (in the U.S.) can qualify for Local Service Ads, once they pass the verification process that Google has. So where does that leave organic search? And how does the typical SEO agency get their clients found high in the rankings if the rankings continually evolve away from the traditional way of Search of the past 26 years? It’s more important than ever before to hire the right Colorado SEO expert who continually keeps up with the latest new changes that Google is rolling out and experimenting with. I’ve updated this blog post to include tips to help you, the business owner, easily figure out who is the best Colorado SEO expert (Colorado AISEO expert) to hire. Check out my tips below. Schedule a free 15-minute consultation now 1. Can you find your Colorado SEO Expert in the top ORGANIC search results in Google and Bing? (This is called a SERP: Search Engine Ranking Position). If you can, that’s great. You should work with someone who walks their talk. But don’t stop there. What does the search result actually say? Is it gibberish, like a bunch of keywords running together in a sentence? (Not good.) Or does the search result read like a thoughtful statement? It takes skill to write an enticing, thoughtful statement and have it appear as the actual search result. Here’s a recent screenshot image of our Search Engine Ranking Position for the keyword phrase “Colorado SEO Expert”: Beware that, as of 2020, Google began rewriting 62.78% of the meta descriptions of pages that it uses. The rest of the time, Google uses other information it finds on your pages and makes that be your search result. Red flag: if you see a company that paid for a Google Ad in order to be found on page one for “SEO” services but you don’t see them in the organic (non-paid) search results, don’t add them to your list.   2. Bing is important because it’s currently the second most used search engine behind Google with a growing 11.19% – the highest I’ve seen it in 25 years of studying search engines. Google currently has 80.74% of market share of Search.  Bing is also used by Alexa.  “Alexa, who is the top Colorado SEO Expert?” Maybe folks won’t ask Alexa such a question yet. Instead, they would use Alexa for home-related questions (“Alexa, where is the nearest dry cleaners?”). No matter what: you should be aware of voice searches impacting your visibility online. Therefore, do be sure you do your homework there, as well. Can you find your Colorado SEO Expert in the top search results in Bing? If so, that’s great. That means she or he has strategy for Bing, as well as Google.   3. Does the Colorado SEO Expert have a blog with numerous articles about SEO, social media marketing, digital marketing and other related topics? Does she or he actually help the reader or are all the blog posts self-serving? If they have a blog filled with helpful SEO blog posts then add that person to your list of candidates to consider.   4. Don’t put all your marketing eggs in the baskets of Google and Bing. Be sure you work with a Search Engine Optimization Expert who is also knowledgeable about social media; blogging or content marketing; email marketing; SMS text message marketing; video marketing ; web design and marketing in general. This type of expert will be able to give you a comprehensive approach to your visibility efforts in all of your marketing. They should be able to show you live results of Organic Search growth in Google Analytics, like this client of ours (below). In a 3-month period, my team and I grew Sessions (Visits) to their website by 469.41% over the same time period the previous year. 5. Be sure to read the reviews of the search marketing expert you’re considering working with. The reviews give you insights into how the SEO expert or SEO agency works. The SEO reviews should speak to the growth the SEO expert gained for the clients. Those are just a few tips to help you figure out who to speak with about your SEO needs. If you have any questions about how I can help you grow your business with my Search Engine Optimization skills, please call me at 970-302-6994 or fill out this contact form. 6. Educate yourself. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has thoroughly disrupted the world of SEO and some SEO experts, SEO agencies’ strategies haven’t survived
