Video Case Study

The video we produced about the terrible structural conditions of the Greeley West High School, nicknamed: “The Dungeon” was a powerful video that helped the Greeley West School District obtain (almost) $1B to rebuild its schools. A school bond worth $1B had to get enough votes from Greeley-Evans, Colorado citizens to pass. The video featured students, teachers, and business owners talking about the challenges of learning in a school that was over 50 years old and in need of major repairs. The video was shared widely on social media (DaGama Digital Marketing also ran the social media came and helped to raise awareness of the issue. It also helped to build support for a bond measure that would fund the school rebuild. The bond measure passed with overwhelming support, and the new schools are now under construction. The video “The Dungeon” is a great example of how a powerful message can be used to make a difference in the world.
